RE: News

RE: News
samples could be oil or gas, or both as in oil with gas from the same zone, or gas with condensate from the same zone .

since you start at the bottom and work your way up I would think the first 2 would be oil as they reported 2 intervals with oil encountered while drilling and the other 4 would be from shale gas zones encountered uphole while drilling.

they have another well they drilled in 2006 for shale gas that they perforated 4 intervals so that is what I am using to give the above data - maybe they will go back and frac that well since they have the equipment available.

lots of unknowns and also lots of potential.

Also if they encountered oil in the bottom zones that is economical you cannot just start producing - you need government approvals- temporary facilities with government approvals to flare etc which all take time to get - a place to truck the oil- I am not sure where the nearest place is that will take it.
