If they are cancelling the spin-off because they cannot get the value that they wanted for the gold assets then I feel this is positive.  I would rather spin them off when the markets are stronger and a better price can be received.  There was no compelling reason why it had to be done now.

I think that ADA has been trading down to some extent because people were anticipating a drop in stock price once the spin-off was complete.  I wouldn't be surprised if the shorts were lining up to get a crack at ADA post spin-off.

Hopefully that now that the spin-off is off the table that mangement can start to focus on supporting their share price.
