RE: Total Conjecture

RE: Total ConjectureI know this is going back a wee bit, but in light of the recent thread on potential business I thought I would mention it. I apologise if it has been mentioned before.

When we were at the AGM this year, I asked Norbert if we could see some product. Something tangible; readers, a screenshot of data, etc. What he did pull out was a small collection of tag examples that I assume were recently produced. There were a few examples of paper tags with quite large
antennae and a rubber enclosed waterproof tag that could be twisted and pulled. ( hospital id's maybe? )

But the thing that sticks in my mind to this day was this professional looking letter-sized presentation board with an intricate, silver tamper-proof tag mounted in one corner. Mounted on the other corner of the board was a specially made adhesive-compound pad that would be used to attach the tag to a windshield. Sirit was boldly printed on the tag, and 3M was boldly printed on the adhesive pad. I assume this board was made up to take on the road when presenting for EVR bids.

Sirit and 3M are out there right now trying to nail down a large EVR supply deal. It's just a matter of time before some country lays out the cash for a new system. Hopefully S&M ( sounds kinda kinky ) are successful in getting one of those potential contracts.

I do believe that RSI was picked up so we could be more competitive in pricing and being able to tweak tags for dead-on accurate read rates. I also agree with you guys on getting all the rfid-knowledgeable staff included as well.
