xandre - No, thank your fellow citizens...who have been paying for Bombardier aerospace, since it was created, through your Federal and Provincial governments, and up until recently, not because it was an industrial juggernaut but, because it was a Quebec based firm. This was, and continues to be, a political story.
Another example is Air Canada. When they last went public, the Feds forgave the $400 million debt the company was carrying. Was this fair for airline competitors Canadian Airlines and it's precurser Canadian Pacific? How about Wardair? And, currently, WestJet?
It's one thing to make your own way in the business world, it's another to be propped up by grants, subsidies, debt forgiveness, etc., since day one.
