Soalala Iron Ore Deposit, Madagascar

The Soalala Iron Ore properties are owned by the Government of Madagascar and situated in the Soalala Zone in centre western Madagascar. The properties have been the subject of considerable exploration and quality evaluation in the past and are important and of interest to the Company for acquisition and evaluation. The Government of Madagascar has invited Manifestation D’Interet (Expressions of Interest) with respect to the acquisition and development of the Soalala Iron Ore deposits. The Government process will then proceed to select qualified applicants to make specific acquisition, exploration and development bids for Soalala.

The Company has formed a Consortium with Mitsui Matsushima Co. Ltd. of Japan, with Japanese support, and has filed a formal Expression of Interest by the Consortium.

The President’s of Cline and Mitsui Matsushima Co. Ltd. recently met in Japan with President Marc Ravalomanana of Madagascar and discussed Soalala, Bekisopa and the Cline developments in Madagascar.
