RE: ouch!

RE: ouch!

I was concerned we'd see $8.50 again, but on a take over offer for some other miner...or prospective miner... not on a almost complete coming apart of the resource stock investment theme which looks to have been coordinated and inspired by the FED the Treasury and their pals.

Copper I notice has been reasonable stable while all around it are crashing. Will we see some type of dramatic "V" shape bottom in resources...I rather think not, but then that's what I've thought before and been wrong. It may take till March of next year before we see $12 again, when there are some significant earnings appearing on ML books and in the financial press...but that'll only be four times the late 2009 run rate for earnings.

Will resource stocks stay that depressed for that long. Seems now they are factoring in a pretty deep and prolonged recession extending to Europe and eventually Asia...all the while a steady dollar...

Suppose I ought to have my buy orders in above $7.30...that price has held on two declines in the last 8 months. Might get there on a resource stock capitulation of some sort, though we're pretty oversold now..
