If the three mines are worthless at gold $923, what were they worth one year ago when gold was at $670?  Lefa is really worthless?  If they produce 250,000 oz this year, how many other mines in the world produce that much?

Oh, that's right gold is still near it's recent highs.  Darn...

Keep trying. It might work if you can find someone of similar intelligence to yourself that buys your story and hits the sell button during the summer doldrums.
