RE: Dr. Groves, Mbwemkuru Technical Report Link
Here's my non-expert interpretation of the report:
(a) Yes, Martha, there is gold on the property. Best evidence of this is the "artisanal workings".
(b) The sand near the surface is low-grade (e.g. 1 g/t). Probably still economic with mechanized placer mining.
(c) The "conglomerates" right under the sand is where the potentially higher grade gold is.
(d) The good doctor is critical of what has been done before his visit and recommends a reset and restart of how the exploration should proceed going forward.
Overall conclusion: This exploration shows great promise, but its going to take quite a while (months) to get anything that a real investor would count as a good estimate of what is really there.
Again, I'm not any kind of expert, but I have been reading lots of technical reports and drilling results of Jr miners for about 10 months.
By the way, I like Dr. Groves. The guy is a retired (emeritus) academic with good credentials and qualifies as a good independent consultant. Does not appear to be some "hack" brought in to keep a "scam" going.
