Canadude, great post, I think that that sums it up for me as well.
Halt = hoopla = frenzy = high share price = next day = retail guy gets screwed. I had that happen to me more than once. Hurts a little, but I'm okay now.
BUY ON SPEC, SELL ON NEWS. Tried that once too, then the company halted agin the next day (when I had no shares) released a second news release and the thing went nuts and I almost pulled the trigger. hehehehe. ah well.
