RE: Positive effects of XTX on STGReduce.
You may be quite right but I still believe that a SET factory is in the works with perhaps the backing of Ingeteam if we need financial assistance. It may well integrate at a later time with Ingeteam in the event of an acquisition. The INGETEAM name (second largest inverter sales in the world) is all we need to market our product but we will need a factory set up to handle the demand, producing inverters under the Ingeteam brand and possibly others. Do we really care what brand name goes on the Sunergy5? How about the INGETEAM SUNERGY5?
Bombardier sells light rail trains all over the world but when you go to the Orlando airport, FLA. or Vegas, I have noticed that the Bombardier name is totally absent from anywhere on the trains. No name. Who cares? The sales are there.
As I posted when Nelson came on board, that was his job with First Solar. He set up their first factory. I think that is more of a possibility of his job description than negotiating a partnership with FSLR. But whether we sell to FSLR or anyone else under SET's name or Ingeteams brand , I really don't care. The profit margin may be less but to get our financing and factory in order and to get the SP over $1, I would gladly accept it.
Absence from the solar world for 6-7 years after leaving FSLR really doesn't give Nelson a great edge on negotiations in sales over another inverter company. His responsibility as COO, was setting up their first factory, not sales. He could be a welcomed addition to a sales pitch by virtue of what he was but I really don't believe that is why he was brought onboard. We will need a factory and he would be the man for that job with his experience.
