First Trust Multi Cap Value AlphaDEX Fund V.FAB

Primary Symbol: FAB

The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the fund's fees and expenses) of the Nasdaq AlphaDEX Multi Cap Value Index. The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets (including investment borrowings) in the common stocks that comprise the index. The index is designed to select value stocks from the NASDAQ US 500 Large Cap Index, NASDAQ US 600 Mid Cap Index and NASDAQ US 700 Small Cap Index that may generate positive alpha, or risk-adjusted returns, relative to traditional indices through the use of the AlphaDEX selection methodology.

CommentsHere's my two cents.  I own some of all three plays here, fab, bh, and canada gas , and have for a long time.   It goes without saying, we are sitting on valuable and lucrative drilling ground loaded with gas...............  the  Profitt R. alone could very well be a company maker.    Canada gas is seriously  trying to put its best foot forward, but leaders of the other two plays are "duds" .  They are in way over their heads, have totally lost any credibility with shareholders, and in doing so, have shot themselves in the foot.    They are incapable of developing these excellent gas lands and my real fear is that we  lose the whole thing on a takeout for much much less than their worth.    I hope the duds don't let this happen.  But, we are now in August, time is marching on , drilling plans  and a plan of action should be on the table by now.  Desperate shareholders are wondering if the duds are listening.  pg46
