Monday morning should be interesting. The way I see it, Westport could possibly report earnings of 22 million, and if I am right in my guesstimation, its not beyond the realm of possibilities to see 37 million for the quarter...
But he!!, even if Westport made 75 million in what is their weakest quarter of the year, the stock would still fall because the shareholders don't have a hot clue what the company does, and worse yet, they don't understand how unique and revolutionalry the technology is...
... I don't know how to put it correctly, "great technology, but a crummy stock" or would it be "great technology, stupid investors"... it must be the latter, because there was something close to 1 billion dollars dumped into Ballard and look where they are now; and Westport still can't catch the breaks Ballard got...
This "dirty air" problem the world has, is like going to the Doctor about a massive growth on the side of your face and getting a response like this;
"Yes sir, I sure can see it... even from quite a distance."
"Feels real nasty, eh."
"Bet it makes the people around you sick, eh"
"Heck, I can even smell the stench as that stuff ozzes out of it."
"But, we won't do bugger all about it, because what would we talk about if it was removed."
