A few more thoughtsAbout the phone calls I made to the company today.
1. Canaco has NO rights to Mbwemkuru
2. The shares outstanding are 40.4 million. The Chinese shares have not been issued.
3. Progress is being made. There is a process - they have to apply for a mining permit. They have to demonstrate proven and probable reserves in a compliant manner. Once they receive the permit they have to file for an environmental impact statement. This is not Venezuela, however. This process is not lengthy. Getting numbers on the deposit will take some time however. But that's a good thing and I believe will be a driver for the stock price.
4. They have hired alluvial mining experts to design the mining process. They are not clueless and the people bad-mouthing DLKM's management are not alluvial mining experts, from what I know.
5. 8K this week.
