HOD is denominated in Canadian dollars. Any U.S. dollar gains or losses as a result of the ETFs investment are hedged back to the Canadian dollar to the best of its ability. In order to achieve this objective, the total underlying notional value of these instruments and/or securities will typically not exceed two times the total assets of the ETF. As such, HOD employs absolute leverage.

Sold a day too early :(

Unloaded at $9.29 yesterday. This is a tough one to hold overnight - I hate waking up the next morning and seeing it gap down. Left some money on the table, but cannot justify chasing it up near the high 9s ;)

Gotta love the volatility on these - great trading; don't get caught on the wrong side of the trade!
