RE: warrents

RE: warrentsGrog,

I have not traded warrants much but I have certainly seen some cases where warrants are extended for a year or more.   I think it happens pretty often in scenarios where partners/major financiers are compensated with warrants (as in the case of many exploration companies) and the company's stock has hit some rough times.   WTM and ASW are a couple of penny stock exploration companies that just did warrant extensions i believe.    I'm not saying that it is necessarily a likely eventuality but it could certainly happen.

I guess for the original poster, if you've got U.WT.A, it is so low at the moment (5 cents or so) that you might as well hold at this point and see what happens.   If there is some last minute speculation on U.WT.A or if there are big strides in the price of U and the warrants start to move on speculation, I think you should bail FAST if you get anywhere close to the price you paid.   I don't want to be negative but unfortunately, I think the reality is that there is a good chance your paper will be worth zero in sept.     You may want to research who has how many of the $11 warrants at the moment and how much of an influence they exert on the company to see if they're likely to try and extend.

Hope the warrants work out for you.
Mark
