RE: new 52 week low, down 6% this morning

RE: new 52 week low, down 6% this morningI tend to agree that Aug is a low point though much lower than last year.  Last august,  it was a combination of weak summer markets and the infernal banks doing their quarterly reporting and starting to put some numbers behind the subprime scare with early news about their writedowns.   This summer a lot of explorers/near term producers already have nine months of beatings behind them so the prices are right in the basement.

I think we'll start to have some rebound at the end of Aug and early fall.    The TSX Venture is sitting at 3 year lows and TSX is down well off its highs earlier in the year.   Mining and commodities are being bled dry at the moment but I think it has to start abating soon.
