RE: Check out this map

RE: Check out this mapSaturn, I just got around to studying the map you posted. I found it interesting that the Santoy coal discovery below LaRonge is in the peat area shown on the map as the white with black dots. Also I believe the area GXS is drilling and finding coal is just above Hudson in that peat area, and I think from NRs the Adamas coal hole is in the peat area. There is a lot of peat showing on that map and I believe a lot of the permits being applied for are in those areas. A search of the internet of the relationship of peat to coal gets the following information.

"Coal is formed when peat is altered physically and chemically. This process is called "coalification."

This is from this site. https://www.uky.edu/KGS/coal/coalform.htm This is probably why the geologists are suddenly interested and recommending companies apply for coal permits.

Therefore, even thought the markets have become a little cold to this coal play, I believe that we have only scratched the surface, so to speak, and there are many more coal finds to come, spead over a large area of mid Sask. The question then becomes the amount, quality and accessibility to determine viability of mining it.

Therefore, for the daytraders and momentum traders, this play will again become a hot topic later this fall. For the longer investor, I believe there is still a lot of upside to many of the companies at play here, of which NAG likely holds the greatest amount of land and therefore a better opportunity to be successful.

But this is all speculation on my part, and I may make money on it or be wrong and lose. Right now I am holding NAG and a few others.
