STAR NAVIGATION - U.S. DISTRICT COURT REJECTS AMS'S JURISDICTIONAL ARGUMENTS

The United States District Court for the Northern District of California has completely rejected Aeromechanical Services Ltd.'s arguments for lack of personal jurisdiction included in its motion to dismiss Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd.'s patent infringement lawsuit (as reported in Stockwatch on May 13, 2008). Although the court granted Aeromechanical Services' motion to dismiss, the court has given Star Navigation leave to file an amended complaint. Specifically, the court afforded Star Navigation time to name Hilary Vieira as a joint defendant with Aeromechanical Services. Star Navigation will comply immediately.
