I don't know if anyone else regularly listens toJim Puplava's Financial Sense Newshour, but he revealed some very biginformation this weekend. As you might or might not know, Puplavaproduced the series "Crime of the Century" on his show this summer. Itdetailed the actions by investment banks and hedge funds to drive downjunior miner stocks through illegal manipulation, naked shorting andinternet BB bashing.
On this week's show, Puplava announced thatclass action lawsuits on behalf of some shareholders and junior minerswould be filed in September/October, both in the USA and Canada. Headded that one law firm has a group of 60 juniors that are going in onit! If this comes to pass, defendants will be named -- individualsand firms. It will move beyond conjecture to specific accusations andcharges.
If you go to financialsense.com and cleck on thisweeks newshour show you can hear a discussion of this among the othertopics. The lawsuit description is addressed at the 1 hour 4 minutemark of the 2nd segment of the "third hours" (which is actually longerthan an hour, lol).
The rest of the show is great too.
I'm very curious about which juniors will be part of this and whether BB bashers will be addressed
