Seasonal Rally in Gold has begunThere is strong seasonality in the POG. Gold weakens in the summer months , in the absence of fabrication demand and weakness in investor buying. The POG begins to increase in late August ( as it is now ) due to the resumption in fabrication demand for Jewelry and as investors who prefer gold as a hard asset, return from summer holidays.
2007 was a typical year, and in Sept 2007, the POG began its strong seasonal ascent which peaked in late spring/08 above $1000 , before beginning its seasonal swoon to just under $800 a few weeks ago.
Get your positions in gold stocks over the next few weeks, as this seasonal pattern is very predicable...
