Month End Results
Good Finish for the month IF you judge the success of a stock being that share price rises although it is what is happening behind the scenes that determine the long term results .
TD House accounted for 443,000 of the 684,500 shares traded for the month of August. That accounted for close to 2/3 of the selling voume. So you can see the pattern I am been trying to share since April.
(The TD house is also resposible for a lot of buys too but the majority of these buys I would expect are longer term buy positions from different parties. As why would you sell 20,000 shares at .21 today and then rebuy back today at about .23. Good way to lose money over time.)
Good news is that as if Ex insiderr J Chiang is responsible for selling to reallocate money into her own venture, she should be running out anytimel. The majority of her shares were originally in Escrow. 1.5 million worth. 300,000 shares were released in Jan 2008 and 300,000 in mid July 2008. (300,000 more shares are to be realeased from escrow every 6 months for the next 3 periods. ) So assuming she had received 300,000 shares by late July, based on TD sales she shoudl be almost out for at least 5 months. At least in 5 months, I woudl hope the volume of shares trading daily woudl be substantially higher and her selling her shares (if she chooses) would not be as impactive as the more recent heavy selling in a bear market during the slower summer season.
NAH (Michael's company) currently still has a court order preventing liquidation of any of Nah assets which owns the MPE shares. 2.9 million of his shares are still in Escrow in any event with 970,000 shares to be released Jan 2009, July 2009, Jan 2010. I would hope by 2009, MPE managment would look for options to either buy out his shares directly or through other larger insitutions that want to own MPE but do not want to run up the stock if they wanted a bigger position.
Last takeaway is the recent announcement. Key words underlined below is 'currently reviewing opportunities" as seen below. So not looking or searching but reviewing!

Most likely the huge build-up of bids and the share price increase this week. So if you are going to dollar cost average in, don't wait too long but also don't overpay as you nevel know when another 40,000 rogue MPE share sale can show up.
