Aurcana Silver Corporation is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the exploration, development, and operation of natural resource properties. The Company’s development properties are the Revenue-Virginius mine (the Revenue-Virginius mine or Ouray), located in Ouray Colorado and held through the Company’s 100% owned United States subsidiary, Ouray Silver Mines, Inc. (OSMI) and the Shafter silver property (the Shafter Silver Project or Shafter), located in Presidio County, Texas and held Aurcana Silver Corporation. The Revenue-Virginius mine is located in southwestern Colorado about 5.5 miles southwest of the town of Ouray. Access to the mine site is via County Road 361. The Shafter Silver Project, which is 375 miles southeast of El Paso, in Presidio County, southwest Texas, within a historic mining district.

re: the possibility of a naked short...Some things which added to the pressure on the shareprice in this particular case are:
Shares payed to Mr. Whatshisname (The driller I believe) who sells them on the open market.
This used to be a good trade, some people have taken a loss after unexpected downswing. And I guess this happened several times cause all trendlines have been broken etc.
These two added imo to the exceptional big price drop. Then of course, non-results - uncertainty about shafter deals - crash of the price of silver - and so on.

Expect also delays in the productionschedule of Shafter. Everything has to be started up there again, even if no lawsuits are filed it would be an exceptional piece of work - better than their previous two mines - to start it up in time. There is no such history in this company and cause they are run by humans and thus express the weaknesses of their master, companies tend to repeat previous mistakes.
