RE: Perhaps one of our oil/gas experts

RE: Perhaps one of our oil/gas expertsThe other issue with Robbanna is that waterfloods take a looooong time to affect production.  The effect is gradual and hopefully long term.  So anyone expecting a big immediate impact from a waterflood is mistaken.  The impact will be stabilizing production and hopefully significantly increasing it over an extended time frame as numerous wells need to be drilled and water introduced over many months.  If they drill the test well in late 2008, they will have to review the results, design the optimal approach, arrange for the water supply and build infrastructure, drill injection wells and possibly additional production wells and then execute.  I would guess 2010 would be the earliest beneficial result.  Bobwins
