I'm not sure they did make any money. The terms of the deal were as follows:
Spry had agreed to exchange 0.1406 of a common share of Spry for each Golden Eagle common share, a deal worth 74.5 cents a share in cash or $13.5 million.
I cannot see $13.5m on any financial statement. So I assume they took the shares instead. Hard to value them as Spry is a private company.
I also listened tp the guy on the Christian Radio Show. Even he had no figures to base his recommendation on. As an aside, am I the only person who as i was listening to it was thinking of Phil Collins and Genesis - "give me $50m dollars so I can build my theme park for the lord"
