RE: what does the cattle industry think of thiswhat , I'm saying, it will cost the meat industry millions, every time this device , if approved , goes off, for a positive result, that means , railroads , trucks , cant enter the meat processing facility, until , it has been decontaminated. it is cheaper to eradicate or reduce ecoli levels , before entering the processing facility.its all about public commerce and health.p.s the CDIA and USDA , shouldn't be dragging their heels on this, neither should beef importers /exporters. California ranchers had revenues over 7 billion last year or this year in dairy products alone.
