RE: Commercial use of the drill

RE: Commercial use of the drillcome out of this before putting their last $ into this play. They mustthink of getting their Lotshi block of the ground, or rather in theground. If they have a shadow of a doubt that Kunene#1 will not be acommercial producer they should not spend the Lotshi-bucks on testingit. They already have the data from the well which proves that there infact are active hc in this field, and its very likely that there ismore of that in both the Kunene and the Hartmann prospects. In thefuture I'm pretty sure that there will be gas, and perhaps oil, produced from block 1711 based on the facts lying on the table.

Also I believe that Eng could have taken into account that they onlyhad 3 weeks to test, set casing and seal the well before they had toturn the rig over to Ophir Energy. Perhaps they thought that there werenot enough time to make this well a producer.

I wonder if Eng would have to pay anything if Sintez decides tocontinue the work on #1. Sintez have apparently found something thatsays there is oil nearby and what if this "nearby" is below 5,000meters, would they drill a #2 or would the continue on #1?
