In order to achieve this objective, the total underlying notional value of these instruments and/or securities will typically not exceed two times the total assets of the ETF. As such, HOD employs absolute leverage.

I agree with your assessment of the oil situation. Hurricanes act as a further suppressant when the market, economy and the specific commodity are all falling. These destructive storms will not do anything for those hoping to get a big spike upwards in the price of oil or natgas and the equities related to them.
