couple more weeksPetrostar Petroleum Corp. of Vancouver has begun drilling the first of three wells in what it believes to be new pools of Bakken oil in southeast Saskatchewan.
The drilling program is part of a joint venture with Saskatoon's Leaf and Stone Resonance Services Ltd. (LSRS). Petrostar announced in June it entered into a letter of intent with LSRS to develop up to 12 quarter sections of leaseholds acquired by the Saskatchewan company.
The first well, according to the Vancouver company, will be drilled to a depth of 900 to 1,000 metres. The entire summer drill program is expected to take about two months, says LSRS's CEO Robert Fisher.
As per the above news release , dated July 23 we are getting close to the end of the time period LSRS' s president said it would take- next couple of weeks should be interesting.
