RE: It seems to me ... didnt there nr state they were waiting on permits, you just dont go around drilling commercial holes without permits from forestry and environment plus the exploration permits, access permits etc. they may not need permits for drilling but those are the last ones you get and usually takes monthes to get. the idea of the permit is tocheck out the areas with all depts to make sure all land is uncontested and not in dispute. only landowners do what they want. a lot of the coal around la ronge area is over 600 ft down, more than 150 meters so sort of pointless drilling until you can do it right. are they drilling on adamus's permit, you tell us. one of the first ngas wells in altas history was a shallow well at around 150m flowed 250000 ft/d for 20 years before they shut it down( was a blowout for 20 years near mcmurry).i dont see mgmt holding back news of drilling, in this market they need all the help they can get. if you are right good news awaits us sooner.
