RE: What is going ON??

RE: What is going ON??I am not an insider but I am speculating that it is a commodity/materials fall out. Many great mining companies have been hammered recently, some in production, some just prior to production, but especially most of the exploration companies..
From my perspective, FCO is about as good as it gets in this type of environment. Both Canada and the US are into elections now and that is never good for market stability.  Bailing out Freddie and Fannie may appear good to some but in my view it is an indication of a deep problem in the US, and that reflects to the north very quickly, and around the world.  The US dollar "should" weaken more and the price of imported things to the US should go up. However, the manufacturing in the US should improve with the weak dollar, over time.  It is a process however and takes time.
Canada went through this and the dollar went from about 65 cents US to $1.10. The rest of the world's currencies reacted in a similar fashion.
As for cobalt, gold, silver and rare earths, FCO should be in good shape to be part of the solution. There will be a demand for high-tec batteries, hybrids, gold, silver, REE's  and copper.
imho

Grizz
