RE: New Guinea Gold: Further Drilling Expands CentGoodness, shares trading today as low as .24 - IMHO the Buyers have to be wearing big smiles, who truly could believe our stock would trade at that low a price again? I'm shocked and admit to being very disappointed. I recently bought shares at .35 and again at .38, guess I should have saved my powder.
The recently announced News of shallow Sinivit drill results looks positive to me and confirms or at the very least indicates to me the amount of gold available for harvest at shallow depths is increasing and open to further increase. The junior metals market is taking a beating, I felt it was beaten down as far already as it could be. It still seems to me the market one of these days will realize world financial conditions are very unsettled, in fact bordering on disarray, and that the gold and silver metals sector will be recognized as an attractive haven to use as hedge protection. Highseas, you are right, Sinivit is planned to be the vehicle to provide exploration funds for our other properties and particularly the Imwauna(Normanby) project which is considered by our leadership to offer the most potential.
Our Canadian market has realy been taking a beating again, this past several days. I didn't get the impression we were in as much trouble as were our good southern neighbors - hopefully we're in the vicinity of a bottom as far as our stock markets and also NGG are concerned.
I feel like I'm just babbling on here - I notice a Conference Call is set for September 11th, hope some of you will listen in and that some discussion on this forum will follow. With any luck I'll be in a combine and unable to listen in. Here's a Paste of the NR setting out information to join the Call.
