RE: Baytex and THAICOO of Baytex was interviewed on BNN today. They are using cyclic steam, not THAI. Cyclic steam is also known as huff and puff. The same well bore is used to steam the deposit and then to extract the oil.

It is an old technology but Baytex feels it is working well and will allow them to extract oil even if oil drops to 1/2 the current price.
