- Honourable Joe R. Reeder served for four years as the 14th Under Secretary of the U.S. Army, the second highest ranking civilian in the U.S. military. Since 1997 Mr. Reeder has been Managing Shareholder, in charge of the Mid-Atlantic Region for Greenberg Traurig LLP, an international law firm. Previously, Mr. Reeder served as Litigation Chairman of Patton Boggs LLP. His clientele has included countries, international corporations, and firms throughout the United States.
- Honourable Pierre Pettigrew, p.c. has had a distinguished career with success in both public and private sectors. Most notably, he led a number of senior government departments in his ten years as a minister in successive federal Canadian governments. Among other positions, he has served Canada as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister for International Trade and the Minister for International Cooperation. He is currently Executive Advisor, International with Deloitte & Touche LLP. Prior to entering national politics, Mr. Pettigrew was the Vice President of Samson Belair Deloitte & Touche International (Montreal), where he acted as an international business consultant.
- General Ron Hite retired in 1997 as the Director Army Acquisition Corps, and Military Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Research, Development and Acquisition. Through his decorated career he held many executive positions in the U.S. military. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from East Tennessee State University and Master's Degree in Science from the Florida Institute of Technology.
- Dr. Najmaldin Karim is the founder and President of the Washington Kurdish Institute and also serves on the Board of Directors of the Kurdish Institute in Paris. He is a founding member of the Kurdish National Congress of North America and served as its President from 1991 to 1999. Due to his extensive knowledge on the Kurdish region, Dr. Karim has testified before numerous U.S. Senate and House of Representative committees on topics relating to the region. He currently resides in Washington, D.C. and is an active contributor to the political process in Iraq.
