RE: The good news??15002 - have you ever thought of becoming a lawyer? Other than the negative connotations, you would make a good one. I would want you on my side.
$20,000,000. There is no longer near that amount in the company. Old data. Old less valuable assets. $2 million a year burn rate - yes if they are near dormant.
Junior producer @ 5x earnings VS. Mansfield moose. I know the producer. Its in Canada - extra point for stability. A 20x multiple in a bullish market would not be unreasonable - you do the math.
Mansfield with no production and at this point no idea of the cost of getting an o z out of the ground. Point to the producer for the bird in the hand.
Potential? Point to Mansfield, but that and $2 will get you a Starbucks in todays market.
I don't want to bury my head in the sand too much. If MDR were the best bet in the book we wouldn't be at 10% of our year ago value. You,15002 are way ahead of me and I am sure most of us on this board on technical knowledge. Your thoughts matter - a lot. But lets not kid ourselves. Nobody seems to be knocking at the door at 10cents on the $. Some days you have to think we may have just financed someones pipe dream. I hope that is not the case, but at this point what we have is still your favorite pie in the sky.
What I said earlier about someone lying is not exactly true, but I do think others had knowledge of impending large sales and the rumours spread earlier about higher resource estimates make you wonder if indirectly insiders weren't unloading long before the price plummet.
I have doubled down (of course against all better judgment and logic) even though I believe it is going to be a while (other than that half dead cat bounce) before we are back in the game. Might as well forget about this one for now.
A question. If an offer came in tomorrow to buy out the whole company @ $1.50 who would sell and who wouldn't?
At 3x todays share price I know what I would do.
I don't rule out a scenario like that at all.
