Here is an honest answer then. I you can see, gold bounce on it's lower uptrend line and blew thu 2 resistance lines on the same day. Pretty powerful, volatile stuff. Is this for real? Well, technically, I am still a little worried about MACD; I would like to see it go back above that green line. If gold keeps today's gains, it will happen.

Now, there's gold and then there's gold stocks. While gold did suffer, the stocks suffered a hell of a lot more. Logic therefore dictates that stocks should enjoy a rebound more that the actual commodity. If you look at HGU.TO, that's what I see happening if gold maintains its gain. I even got some HGU Monday and Tuesday prior to this reversal. Here is my short discussion on the subject:
