Some tech info on the last press release.I thought a question on this might have come up after the last press release but it didn't.
"In addition, four of the core holes were open-hole logged." https://www.marketwire.com/press-release/Goldnev-Resources-Inc-TSX-VENTURE-GNZ-895696.html
For those investing in oil & gas and mining commodities (and the market will return) it is always best to learn as much about your investments as you can. I asked Marc about this in case it came up, and this was his description in reference to Pasquia Hills.
"Well (or borehole) logging is used in both oil & gas and mining
operations and is used to provide information on the geological
formations and rock and fluid properties that have been drilled to
determine if oil or gas or minerals are present. In open hole logging,
measuring devices or "logs" are lowered into the drilled well or core
hole to measure the rock and fluid properties and in particular to
measure the electrical, acoustic, radioactive, electromagnetic
properties of the rock and the fluids contained in the rock and is done
at the end of the drilling of the well but before the production casing
or pipe is landed or placed in the well or core hole. Cased hole logging
is run after the production casing is run.
For the Pasquia Hills open hole logging program we used a suite of logs
which included neutron, gamma ray and induction measuring devices. The
three suites of logs together measure porosity, detection of minerals
ie... coal or shale. The neutron is mainly a porosity and hydrogen
detector (shale usually has a large amount of water bound up within it
but and can be read despite its lack of or low porosity) and gamma rays
detect lithology and minerals and volumes in the zone(s) of interest.
Induction logs are electrical logs that measure formation conductivity
and resistivity."

As a further note Mr. Dame was really impressed by AGAT Labs when he toured them. This is just my WAG, but I think the lab results may be completed sooner than announced. rich47.
