RE: Morning thought!

RE: Morning thought!
"The pessimist sees a difficulty in each opportunity.
The optimist sees an opportunity in each difficulty"

These little aphorisms are cute and, of course, are usually non sequiturs, better the affable aphorism than thinking it through.

The reality is that MDG's risk factors are increased by PMI's control. We have no idea when or how PMI might exercise aspects of that control. For instance, is it in the interests of PMI shareholders for PMI to allow MDG to rise to $2 before they buy it out when PMI, by virtue of its insider position will know details of MDG's progress before we know it? If so, then why should we shoulder the risk if the reward might be limited? Are PMI's interests aligned with average MDG shareholder interests?

It's not the dilution. It's not the money that MDG gets, the money is clearly needed. It's simply that an elephant is in the room and the possiblility of achieving the kind of rewards that the risk warrants is in now doubt because of the interests of the elephant. We will no longer have adequate representation in the board room because we simply will not have the votes.

I don't care if I'm wrong. I've got a home for the money and the home more closely satisfies my criteria for risk vs return. There can't be a visible limiting factor preventing 500% return in a speculative play like this. PMI has become that factor because they add a huge unknown, another executive, board and set of shareholders.

One other thing, MDG has released very few details of its science and progress. Doing this might have helped MDG's share price. The "Fortune 100" company may very well have compelled MDG to refrain from issuing such news. It's the old, "If you want to play with us, then here are our expectations." So now, surprise, surprise, MDG needs so much money and its share price is so low that our control is sacrificed to an entity that may have limited the ways in which we could have prevented that.
