RE: Chief Operating Officer bought more

RE: Chief Operating Officer bought moreGood old HRG, true to form, but just so nobody thinks older is going anywhere, I am going to hold through whatever, and see how this saga unfolds. Do not care what gold price does, what rumours are speculated on, or even whatever HRG announces. Parties can f'ck around here all day, and drop the price, raise the price or do whatever. I will even accumulate on any dips from here on panic days, as I doubt we have seen the end of those somehow, but time will tell.  I am hear for the duration, win or lose.
However: isn't HRG just true to form and consistent. We get a news release, of course at the very last moment for it to be appropriate regarding the Prognoz deal. Is it deal or no deal? Who knows really, as of course it is vague enough and with outs all over the place.IMO  And do you feel any more informed really??? I do not.
As for the latest rumours: is it Kinross, is it the Russians, or maybe its Martians and they are landing on Prognoz because they need silver for their space ship!
One has to wonder wonder about the motivations here. I view all of this as some sort of attempt to get shares into friendly hands. How else would you explain the lack of promotion, the fuzzy outlook projected, while at the same time somebody appears to be buying up ALL the offers over time at a VERY depressed stock level, and no sign of the share price moving up, in fact it appears to be being held up by the big buyer, in truth. Does ANYONE really believe that management and the BOD are not aware of the party(s) buying through Morgan???  It is so big a percent of the buy side,  WHAT ELSE would you be looking at in terms of the market if you were managment/BOD, and did not know already?????
So suppose you know. Then of course, why not release the news, is the question for folks like us, or ANYBODY. And if you did know, wouldn't that be insider information?? So could you buy shares knowing???? Or not?? Think about the logic here folks. So if they do not know, then we have somebody buying MILLIONS of shares, for no known reasons. Do you believe that is possible right now?
Prognoz: They wait til the last minute, and the news is far from promotional. Very boiler plate, boring, and largely leaves doubt, and not much else, in my opinion. Would you have released such a news release, with such wording, IF you wanted the share price to go up? Or would you have released such if you wanted to fulfill your MINIMUM requirement, but not stimulate any buying? Once again, consider this clearly.
Where does it leave me. I think that it is ALL a game to provide some party with a large position, acquired to either gain control, complete a deal, or make big money on a flip. Maybe even to put enough votes into friendly hands to get something done. The only thing I object to, IF this proves to be the case, is that it would then indicate that people are buying on knowledge, not on a level playing field.
Looking forward: if this scenario proves true, I would expect lots of games, maneuvers to scare folks out of shares (like sudden drops from pushing a few shares on to market at right moments etc possibly) and a continuation of the same pattern of acquisition and accumulation.
If there really is a bid coming from the likes of Kinross or some Russian group, the leaks would cause buying, and the price should move up. It is that simple. Takeovers, and validated leaks push stock prices higher, very basic stuff.
So odds are, yes, HRG goes higher over the next months and whatever is going on gets public, voluntarily or through leaks. But I still reiterate, it is HRG style all the way in my opinion. In other words, the changes to date seem cosmetic.
Welcome any other opinions on this. But can the Kinross, Russian takeover gurus, get together and decide which is right? If in fact either is. Or maybe Kinross is getting bought out by a Russian firm and they are taking over HRG, why not one more combo. roflmao
