RE: Central Banks in Europe Favour Gold
RE: Central Banks in Europe Favour GoldI really like the section of the article where it states:
"And banks elsewhere in the world, most notably in Asia and the Middle East, may even become buyers of gold in an attempt to diversify their reserves away from the dollar, analysts say."
and
"The US currency slipped to record lows against the euro earlier this year, and although it has since taken on a firmer tone, doubts remain over its outlook."
This is positive news for DMM. Even if gold is selling at $700/oz (worst scenario) and the operating cost is $300/oz (was forecasted at $200/oz) , Zaruma mine alone will bring in $40 million per year profit. So if gold prices rise to say $1,100 /oz by early 2009 profit doubles to $80 million on 1 operating mine alone. I can smell the green.
I don't understand why some people are selling DMM at such low prices. It clear that they have no grasp of the fundamentals. DMM is going to be a good Christmas gift , for the next 3 years.
