rubbertoeSLAM may have always found a way to survive the last 7 years that you've followed them - but this was 7 years without a potential global recession. Interesting and scary comments made by John Kaiser this weekend at the Cambridge Conference. Essentially he said that there are about 1500 junior resource companies, and many of these will not survive this downturn, that there will be a cleansing of spec plays. Those that will survive he believes will be those with significant actual deposits rather than exploration plays, and financing may be done through larger companies taking an interest. Comments similar to mooreman's some time ago. Where does SLAM fall? Who knows for sure? But I know that financially I need it to survive this mess.
