RE: MANSFIELD ANNOUNCES DETAILS ON SPIN-OUT OF RIO

RE: MANSFIELD ANNOUNCES DETAILS ON SPIN-OUT OF RIOSL - don't disagree that this should have been big news. In fact, it was probably worthy of a stock halt for flair, but of course thats not their style.
I find it strange that they would plan to move Lindero over by itself and let it sit there. You would think there was a buyer close at hand.  Otherwise are you going to have a 10-15cent stock (just a number taken at random) sitting waiting to get hit. If the feasibility studies are not favourable where would it leave Lindero?

Given todays market what is Lindero going to be worth by itself 10cts a share would give it a market cap of $4 odd million or $2 per ounce of gold in the ground.  20cents per share would make it $4 per ounce.  OUCH.

The sum of its parts should be worth something more than todays price.

And what about the Rio Grande package (cash and property)?  Sure looks like a good combo with Antares (as stated many moons ago).  Maybe Farallon will come knocking on both doors.  A possibility at least.
The movement of cash with Rio Grande suggests that Lindero is a straight sale to a third party and that the development of Rio Grande by MDR/ANM or MDR/FAN/ANM becomes feasible.

Go Gold!
