Well said stoxrok.  I think were on the same page in agreement.  I didn't know if mir had a short position or not .
Thanks for the info on that side of the coin.  My comment on shorts although i didn't make it too clear was on the market in general. Some people are fooled on the days they see the market taking a upswing that it is a recovery
instead of a bump before the next move down. There is no support period.  Between panic and advisors on  tv shows saying that upticks should be your exit points if your still holding dosen't help to bring any normalcy.
In the short term money can be made trading. On the longer side there are some good stocks going cheap if you buy over time and wait this market out.  
Mir will have another pump day at some point as you say when will it stick? Millions of shares to chew through and adding more is a big hold back even if they do get some cash flowing someday.  Long term investors that have had this one for years may get a second slap on a r split if we have to continue to use shares as debt payments.

For now my risks don't come any greater then the next stock i might choose to play.
