The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Bloomberg Barclays 1-3 Year U. The fund invests at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index and in securities that the Adviser determines have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the securities that comprise the index. The index is designed to measure the performance of short term (1-3 years) public obligations of the U.S. Treasury.

RE: SST needs toSaid in jest, but what you say may have more semblance of reality than you think.

The main concept being that the COMEX is being discredited more each day as a price-setting mechanism, given that the real gold/silver prices are much higher.

Open interest down to multi-year lows and plummeting, as traders move elsewhere.  That's why holdings of SLV and GLD soaring while the prices go down.

Pretty soon, COMEX will either default or be phased out by other market mechanisms.  Or silver/gold companies will stop selling.

Full faith in SST, and again they are clearly in a quiet period (discussing deals) as they have not bought back stock in weeks.  The more they wait, the better the deals they'll get.
