ML, Gold should start surging in Nov???

ML, Gold should start surging in Nov???

Monthly chart shows a pretty weak picture for GOLD with a primary monthly trend most likely to show up having been broken come Friday. The metal's usualy strength in Asia isn't even appearing today - down $8 or so after a very weak showing on Thursday in the Americas.

https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$GOLD&p=M&st=1994-11-05&en=2008-10-30&id=p79871258092&a=95463222&listNum=1

Now this could be some month end abberation and with what's going on with regards to money creation one would certainly think Gold would be rising, but it isn't. There's going to need to be a major change in investor and speculative interest to stop the decline and even more to develop the "surge" you suggest will start in November.

We'll see, but with this chart pattern in place I don't think I'll be holding on to alot of gold and silver miner positions..

XAU at overhead...won't buck a fall in gold very long...
