RE: RE: RE: new testsWhatever they decide to do I hope it is not something that will take the FDA 10 years to approve.  The time it takes to get a test on the market is killing us.  Response has already done a lot of work on a PSA test quite some years ago with a group of doctors at VGH, but the project was canceled; I think because it turned out that PSA is not a really useful marker because it is not specific enough to prostrate.  My thinking it might be good to do something relating to food security because tainted food is becoming a really big issue, and involves public scar and large inventory recalls.  As far as HIV goes there are already some good tests out there.
