ALIX AND GEO ANNOUNCE FINDINGS OF RECENT GEOLOGICAL RECONNAISSANCE ON SASKATCHEWAN COAL PROPERTY

AlixResourcesCorp. and Geo Minerals Ltd. have provided this update ontherecentgeological reconnaissance completed by company geologistsontheWapawekka Lake coal outcrops first priority coal dispositionsareainSaskatchewan, northwest of the recent Goldsource Mines Inc.(GXS)coaldiscovery.

The geologists located the southwesternmostoutcrop inthe bankof Wapawekka Lake. A coal seam is exposed in thewalls of anearby openpit area, approximately 200 to 300 metres south ofthe coaloutcrop inthe banks of the lake. The coal seam exposed in thepit areawallsappears continuous and is most likely the outcroppingcoalseamobserved in the banks of the lakeshore. Due to the oxidizedstateofthe coal samples, plans to test the quality will bedeferreduntilunoxidized coal is obtained by way of drilling.

The company has been in the process of prioritizing drill targets and will announce drilling dates in the near future.

Theareasouth of Wapawekka Lake and the shores of Wapawekka Lakehavebeenidentified by Pearson in 1961, and reported by Pearson in"silicasandand coal occurrences on Wapawekka Lake" as being ofCretaceousage.Within this report, Pearson states, "The coal outcropsatWapawekka lake... may indicate the northern edge of a coal fieldlyingto the south,southwest and west of Wapawekka Lake." Subsequent tothisreport, AngloAmerican drilled an exploratory hole outside oftheacquisition area in1969, 18 miles due south of the WapawekkaLakeoutcrops that intercepted80 feet of coal at a depth of 627feet,reported in assessment report73I0001.

The technical contentsof this release were approved byGeoMinerals director and Alix Resourcesadvisory board memberandqualified person as defined by NationalInstrument 43-101,MarvinMitchell, PEng.
