Ecuador mining law - Oh well........

Ecuador mining law - Oh well........Sorry that I don't have the same faith in Ecuador as the other posters on this mining law.  I held ARU for over two years and lived and died by every rumour and hearsay that came out of that country, only it was all for nothing.  ARU got stolen by Kinross drt cheap.  Anyway, everything is exactly where it was two years ago, except for the mining moratorium - you can't even drill a hole as of right now!!.

I believe tomorrow is a better day when the Correa gang actually do something, not by keep talking about how rosy things will be.  They still have to clarify on the three concessions per company rule and that damn windfall tax.  Looks like Ecuador loves to torture its investors by "cutting off the cat's tail nine times instead of just once".

Trust me this country knows every which way to make sure its citizens will continue to wallow in misery.  Case in point, why have that stupid mining moratorium extended until January 2009?  What is the benefit of it in the first place other than putting its own people out of work?
