New to the SHORT side.I am looking at my Stockhouse portfolio.
It is now 6.15 A.M. Pacific Time, Thursday, November 13.
The market will soon open.
It says SRS Last $151.70 up $3.00, +2.02%
I called my broker and said that I would like to purchase 100 shares of SRS.
He said that the asking price was $170
I kind of shuddered, you see that I had marked on my magic voodoo calender
to buy on October 12 but somehow I screwed up.
So I was buying a day late and it was costing me an extra $20 a share, $2000 in total.
I really do not know how the prices of SRS works.
Can anybody straighten me out? Is it by Bid and Ask?
Is a new price calculated by ProShares every day as the market price?
Is this like a mutual fund, or is it like a normal stock, or is it a little bit of both - that’s confusing?

Stockhouse says that a BullBoard post was made on 10/23/2008 but when I go there,
it says that there are no posts. Is something broken?

I am sick and tired of losing money, the only thing that seems to be working is shorts.
I am looked upon by many as an experienced accredited investor,
but I have never taken the short side.
The market is transforming me into someone quite different.
