RE: RE: NewsYou are looking at the stopping of all or none the wrong way. It will actually help stop manipulation. Lets say some one wants to lower the price and there is not a huge amount of bids this is what they can currently do.
Example stock A is at 5.00. Broker A has shorted it. There are currently 10 orders of 5,000 shares on the bid to down to 4.50. Broker A phones his buddy at Broker B ( who is also shorting) I am Going to put an all or none ask order for 4.00, broker B then puts his bid a 4.00 for All or Nothing. If there was no one else screwing up their little game they now dropped it down to 4.00. Since they are working together they basically lose no money on the transaction but if they shorted 1,000,000 shares thet could have just made 1,000,000 profit !!
Getting rid of all or nothing actually helps the small guys !!
