With great losses come great gains.   Yes, lots of juniors are going to fail with inability to finance.  The ones that stand will be worth more as there will be fewer of them.  CYP/SYH have cash to whether the storm.    The  purchase of assets has pretty much stopped in the capital markets, but I don't see it in the gold industry.  Kinross just bought a mine from Tech Cominco today.   The Goldcorp/Kinross/Agnico's are going to have excellent earings with our Canadian dollar and the price of fuel being so low.  Then they should be on a bigger aquiring spree, because buyouts of juniors happens more often when markets are at their highs because they can use their high stock price in the bid.
